'Sponge Man to President' will be on sale for the first time at the weekend, priced £15 per copy, charting his long association with the club in a variety of roles.

Blackwell retired from his secretarial duties in the summer of 2016 to assume the title of club president and still attends all first team matches involving the Pilgrims.

His memoirs, written in association with retired local journalist George Wheatman, will be available as part of the club's Community Day activities, which also include an open training session and the annual first team photocall.
