World Cup winner Ardiles and six-time England appearance maker Roberts teamed up to entertain the bumper audience for over an hour.
They were joined on-stage by comedian John Stiles — son of England World Cup winner Nobby Stiles.
The evening was supplemented by a terrific four-course meal courtesy of catering partners The Pig Issue.
United commercial manager Craig Singleton told bufc.co.uk: “It was another excellent night and I would like to thank everybody who came along and supported us.”
The Pilgrims’ next sportsman’s dinner will take place on Thursday April 2, featuring former Liverpool and Germany midfielder Dietmar ‘Didi’ Hamann and comedian Greg Cook.
