Sunderland friendly announced

The Pilgrims will entertain the Black Cats' under-21s (development squad) side at The Jakemans Stadium on Tuesday July 28 (kick-off 7.30pm).

United have developed a strong relationship with Sunderland over recent seasons, with Liam Marrs, Liam Agnew, David Ferguson, Joel Dixon, Tom McNamee and Max Stryjek all arriving on loan from the Stadium of Light.

The confirmation of the Sunderland clash means that the Pilgrims' scheduled trip to King's Lynn Town will be pushed back 48 hours to Thursday July 30.
