Take part in walking football

Fancy taking part in walking football for over-50s? Visit The Jakemans Stadium on a Thursday evening.

Every Thursday, take part with our walking football sessions for over-50s on the pitch at The Jakemans Stadium. All of our coaches are fully qualified and have relevant CRB checks.

It is important to stay fit, active and healthy whatever your age. As you get older, it is important to have regular exercise and playing a physical game such as walking football can help you build and improve your strength, increase your core stability, help you to lose or maintain your weight and improve your muscles.

It can sometimes be hard to keep steady on your feet, but walking football can also help to improve your balance.

The first eight sessions are FREE, then only £1.50 per session. Sessions are available for males and females who are aged 50 and over.

Please wear suitable sports clothing and footwear (no studs) and bring a drink. All equipment is provided. Sessions run from 5.30pm to 6.30pm.
