It is 10 years since Chestnut Homes stepped in to rescue Boston United during the summer of 2007.

Here we take a look at 10 notable events, one from each season, to celebrate the work undertaken by David Newton and Neil Kempster over the last decade (in reverse order)… #ChestnutTen

10 Harry Vince gains England C recognition
Homegrown youngster Harry Vince earned a call-up to the England C / FA XI squad for the first time — just weeks after signing his first senior contract at The Jakemans Stadium.
 
He became the second Pilgrim inside two seasons, following Dayle Southwell in 2015-2016, to earn England C representative honours — a real feather in the United cap.
 
Vince progressed from the Pilgrims’ Centre of Excellence and into the youth team before finally forcing his way into the first team reckoning during 2016-2017.
 
His elevation to the England C squad was testament to United’s youth development system, which has been running as part of United in the Community throughout the club’s 10 seasons back in non-league football.
