It is 10 years since Chestnut Homes stepped in to rescue Boston United during the summer of 2007.

Here we take a look at 10 notable events, one from each season, to celebrate the work undertaken by David Newton and Neil Kempster over the last decade (in reverse order)… #ChestnutTen
 
9 Boston United earns Community Club of the Year honours
The 2015-2016 season concluded with Boston United being named as the ‘Community Club of the Year’ across all three National League divisions.
 
United vice-chairman Neil Kempster stepped up on stage at Celtic Manor during the National League Congress in June to accept the award on behalf of the club.
 
The accolade recognised the Pilgrims’ many and varied activities throughout the local community, delivered by United in the Community — a scheme firmly nurtured by Kempster and chairman David Newton.

United in the Community continues to go from strength-to-strength as the Pilgrims gear up for a move to The Quadrant.
