4 Promotion glory at Bradford Park Avenue
The on-pitch highlight of the last decade arrived in May 2010.
After spurning the opportunity to lift the UniBond Premier League title on the final day of the campaign at Marine, United were forced to endure the lottery of the play-offs instead.
A midweek semi-final victory over North Ferriby United laid the platform for United’s trip to Bradford Park Avenue in the final.
Despite trailing at half-time, Marc Newsham equalised and Anthony Church struck an extra time winner to spark delirious scenes amid around 1,500 travelling Pilgrims at the Horsfall Stadium.
