Boston United are back on home soil on Saturday afternoon with the visit of Chester FC to The Jakemans Stadium (kick-off 3.00pm).

It will be six years to the day since Chester's last visit when Jason Lee's side earned a memorable 3-2 victory to end the Cestrians' unblemished start to the campaign.

Chester have endured a more problematic start to the current season, suffering a string of home postponements due to water damage at the Swansway Chester Stadium and collecting nine points from their seven matches to date.

United boss Craig Elliott will welcome ex-Chester full-back Jordan Gough back into contention following suspension but he will be forced to check on the fitness of a clutch of other players.

Andi Thanoj (hamstring) limped off during last weekend's 2-0 win at Stockport County, while Spencer Harris (Achilles), Grant Roberts (knee) and Cieron Keane (groin) will be assessed too.

Loan signings Max Wright, Ahkeem Rose and Yusifu Ceesay could make their home debtuts for the Pilgrims.

Saturday's match referee is Tom Parsons, who took charge of the Pilgrims' 0-0 Emirates FA Cup draw at Chorley last season.

Matchday updates for those not in attendance will be published on Twitter via @bostonunited — starting with team news at 2.00pm.
