The Pilgrims' under-21s were beaten 9-0 by an experienced Norwich City development side on Tuesday evening.

Jamar Loza was the star of the show as he scored four goals for a strong City side at The Jakemans Stadium.

Two goals for Jacob Murphy along with strikes from Cameron Norman, Conor McGrandles and Harley Black completed the rout.

The fixture handed valuable game time to Michael Hollingsworth, Sam Vince, Louis Saebe and Ollie Price along with an opportunity to look at a host of trialists for the Pilgrims.

The match also saw a handful of youth team players given an opportunity, including Harry Payne and Harry Limb who were promoted from the Centre of Excellece under-16 side.
