The Burdens Group have extended their long-standing association with Boston United ahead of the upcoming 2017-2018 campaign.

Led by chairman Norman Burden and managing director John Southern, Burdens will once again be the Pilgrims' official pitch maintenance partners when the new season kicks off.

Working closely with new head groundsman Dan Milgate, Burdens will continue to provide their extensive range machinery for use on the playing surface at The Jakemans Stadium.

"We are extremely grateful to Burdens for their ongoing support,” commented United commercial manager Craig Singleton.

"It is one of our most important partnerships because you cannot put a price on the service we receive from Burdens each season.

"Our thanks go to Norman Burden, John Southern and the rest of the team for their excellent backing."

Established in 1972, The Burdens Group provide a range of equipment and services throughout Lincolnshire and beyond. Commercial customers include farmers, contractors, local authorities, construction and civil engineers, golf courses and sports turf. Together with domestic customers, all receive the very best in sales advice and after sales service.

The business started in Swineshead and continual expansion necessitated a move to purpose built head offices at Sutterton in 1987. The company also operates from strategically placed premises at Wrangle and North Kyme in Lincolnshire and has a dedicated hire facility, Turfleet Hire, based in Berkshire.
