United aiming for Eastwood double
Boston United will start the New Year with a trip to Eastwood Town on Sunday (kick-off 3.00pm).
The Pilgrims will be aiming for a quickfire double over their Nottinghamshire opponents, who were defeated 4-2 at The Jakemans. Stadium on Boxing Day.
Scorers Danny Sleath, Tom Ward, Marc Newsham and Jason Lee could all start once more for the Pilgrims, who could be boosted by the return of injured skipper Gareth Jelleyman.
Eastwood, who welcomed four new signings on the eve of the Boxing Day clash, could have further additions onboard ahead of the New Year's Day action.
The Pilgrims drew 2-2 at Coronation Park last season although their only competitive victory at the venue arrived in a 2009 UniBond League Challenge Cup tie (4-0).
United will be aiming for a maximum three-point haul ahead of further New Year fixtures against Eastwood's relegation rivals Blyth Spartans and Bishop's Stortford.
