Boston United are back in Emirates FA Cup action on Saturday with a trip to face old rivals Kettering Town at the third qualifying round stage.

The Pilgrims have not met Saturday's opponents since 2012 when Ben Fairclough's second half goal secured a 1-0 home FA Cup win over the Poppies.

Kettering currently play in the Southern League Premier Division and have former Pilgrim Spencer Weir-Daley among their ranks.

United will be without the services of six players for the trip to Burton Park Wanderers' Latimer Park, namely injured quintet Nat Brown, Herve Pepe-Ngoma, Shane Clarke, Callum Chippendale and Grant Roberts, while goalkeeper Dion-Curtis Henry does not have permission from Peterborough United to play.

Michael Emery is set for his second start of the season in goal, while defender Ollie Price is expected to return to the squad after illness forced him to miss last weekend's 1-0 win over Altrincham.

Kettering progressed to this stage of the competition following away victories over Leek Town (3-2) and Rushall Olympic (2-1).

Should Saturday's tie end all-square, a replay will be staged at The Jakemans Stadium on Tuesday (October 4, kick-off 7.45pm).
