United beaten despite Pratt strike

2 weeks ago By Craig Singleton

Boston United bowed out of the FA Youth Cup after suffering a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Tamworth on Friday evening.

Ryan Pratt's 31st minute opener was soon cancelled out — and the Lambs went on to book a third qualifying round home clash against Alfreton Town.

Bobby Robinson drew Tamworth level and Kyle Hayden struck twice to seal United's fate.
