The curtain comes down on the Vanarama Conference North campaign on Saturday afternoon with Boston United entertaining Leamington.

The final day encounter at The Jakemans Stadium sees play-off bound United hosting already-relegated Leamington.

The Brakes’ fate was confirmed last weekend with a 2-2 draw against North Ferriby United meaning they could not finish outside the bottom three.

United, meanwhile, were thrashing Solihull Moors 4-1 to book their play-off place and the only question which remains unanswered is in which position the Pilgrims will finish.

Victory over Leamington would guarantee a third place finish and an away trip to Chorley or Guiseley on Wednesday — with the return leg taking place next Saturday.

If the Pilgrims drop points against the Brakes, they could be overtaken and play their home leg on Wednesday instead.

Manager Dennis Greene will have to decide whether to rest strikers Dayle Southwell and Mark Jones, who he has publicly confirmed are struggling with long-standing niggles.

Marc Newsham and fit-again Jake Sheridan could be the beneficiaries if Southwell and Jones are rested.

Midfielder Jake Hall is expected to play too, having netted the clinching goal in United’s 2-0 win over Tamworth at The Jakemans Stadium on Easter Monday.

The spoils were shared in a 1-1 draw between the sides at the New Windmill Ground earlier in the season, while last season’s corresponding fixture ended 2-0 to the Pilgrims.

Saturday’s match referee is Alf Greenwood and kick-off is at 3.00pm.

Match coverage will be available via @bostonunited on Twitter.
