Boston United are back in Vanarama National League North action on Saturday with a trip to face high-flying Nuneaton Town at Liberty Way.

The Pilgrims will be aiming to bounce back from last weekend’s Emirates FA Cup elimination at Gainsborough Trinity — and from their 3-0 league defeat to AFC Fylde on September 19.

Nuneaton, relegated at the end of last season, have taken 21 points from their opening 11 league fixtures and have suffered only one league defeat at home to date (1-0 to Gloucester City).

Kevin Wilson assumed control of Boro in pre-season and has assembled a brand-new squad, including former Aston Villa and West Ham United striker Marlon Harewood.

Ryan Robbins could make his United debut, having completed his move from Stamford AFC on Friday afternoon, but injury concerns surround a number of United players.

Goalkeeper Jason Alexander is a doubt with a groin strain, while wingers Jay Rollins, Kaine Felix and Lartey Sarpong are all set to miss out too.

The Pilgrims have not visited Liberty Way since August 2011 when they suffered a 2-0 defeat.
