It means 11 players in total have been released by the Pilgrims, following the earlier announcements of departures involving goalkeeper Michael Emery, defenders Joe Maguire, Courtney Wildin, Nat Brown and Ben Gordon, midfielders Callum Chippendale, Marcus Marshall, Jason St Juste and Shane Clarke and striker Waide Fairhurst.

Four loan players also returned to their parent clubs over the weekend — namely defenders Josh Robinson and Charlie Gatter, midfielder Louis Briscoe and striker Mani Dieseruvwe.
