Goalkeeper Ross Durrant has become the latest player to leave Boston United.

The former Nottingham Forest and Ilkeston FC stopper, who made 22 appearances for the Pilgrims, has been freed following the expiry of his contract.

It means 11 players in total have been released by the Pilgrims, following the earlier announcements of departures involving goalkeeper Michael Emery, defenders Joe Maguire, Courtney Wildin, Nat Brown and Ben Gordon, midfielders Callum Chippendale, Marcus Marshall, Jason St Juste and Shane Clarke and striker Waide Fairhurst.

Four loan players also returned to their parent clubs over the weekend — namely defenders Josh Robinson and Charlie Gatter, midfielder Louis Briscoe and striker Mani Dieseruvwe.

Midfield duo Jack Broadhead and Harry Vince and striker Gregg Smith are already contracted for 2017-2018, while striker Karl Hawley will continue to combine his playing and coaching duties at The Jakemans Stadium.

New terms have been offered to defensive trio Tom Batchelor, Kalern Thomas and Jan Yeomans, midfielder Adam Chapman and attackers Jay Rollins and Liam Adams.

Joe Burgess, Herve Pepe-Ngoma and Grant Roberts have all been offered the opportunity to return to pre-season training after spending the majority of 2016-2017 on the sidelines through injury.

News is still awaited regarding midfielder Lewis Hilliard and striker Colby Bishop.
