Former West Ham United, Everton and England striker Tony Cottee was the club’s special guest, standing in at short notice for scheduled speaker Peter Beardsley.

Cottee (pictured with United manager Dennis Greene) entertained the 120-strong audience by recalling tales from his playing career which also included a spell in Malaysia and winning the League Cup with Leicester City.

He was joined on-stage by comedian and impressionist Mark Langley.

Boston United would like to thank everybody who attended and supported the night and particularly those who purchased items from the evening’s auction.
