Boston United staff members attended the Lincolnshire Show on Wednesday and Thursday to promote the work being undertaken by the club.

The Pilgrims were situated in the ‘sports zone’ co-ordinated by the Lincolnshire Sports Partnership and met hundreds of visitors to the popular county event.

Youngsters were able to test themselves against United’s inflatable target goal while club information brochures were distributed to visitors to the United stand and prospective commercial clients around the Lincolnshire Showground.

Percy the Penguin was also out and about posing for photographs with youngsters in attendance.

Among the other stallholders at the Lincolnshire Show were new shirt sponsors Thurlby Motors, who exhibited the new United-branded courtesy car which will shortly be hitting the streets of Boston and the surrounding area.
