Boston United will be aiming to make it a ninth match unbeaten at The Jakemans Stadium when they play host to Harrogate Town on Saturday afternoon.

The Pilgrims have not been beaten on home soil in Vanarama Conference North since Solihull Moors left Lincolnshire with a 2-1 win on October 25.

Five wins and three draws have followed — with four of United’s victories containing five goals for the Pilgrims.

United will also be keen to end a home hoodoo against Harrogate, having gone winless in five previous meetings against Town at York Street.

The Pilgrims, who were beaten 2-1 in the reverse fixture on January 17, will check on the fitness of defender Zak Mills (Achilles) before kick-off.

On-loan Sunderland goalkeeper Max Stryjek is expected to displace Sam Vince and make his United debut after switching from the Stadium of Light.

Marc Newsham (hamstring) is back in contention after missing the 2-0 defeat at Guiseley last time out, but midfield duo Greg Tempest and Conor Marshall remain sidelined.

Harrogate will be without influential midfielder Andy Gascoigne who has scored in Town’s last five minutes. He broke a leg against Chorley last weekend.

Last season’s corresponding fixture ended 3-3, despite United holding a 3-0 half-time lead.

Saturday’s match referee is Lloyd Wood and kick-off is at 3.00pm.
