Boston United will be aiming to get back to winning ways when they play host to Stalybridge Celtic on Saturday afternoon.

The Pilgrims, who have won 12 out of their last 18 Vanarama National League North encounters, were beaten 1-0 at Gloucester City last time out.

Their home form has been exemplary since the beginning of October though, with eight wins and a draw from their last nine matches at The Jakemans Stadium.

United boss Dennis Greene is hopeful that top goalscorer Dayle Southwell could make his return from a foot injury sustained on December 5 and aggravated on December 19.

Zak Mills (Achilles) and Richard Jones (knee) remain sidelined.

New signings Stephane Ngamvoulou and Joe Burgess could make their United debuts after completing moves from Whitehawk and Ilkeston FC respectively, while Sheffield United loanee Ioan Evans is another option for Greene as the Pilgrims plot a route to a crucial three-point haul.

Opponents Stalybridge were 2-0 victors at Lowestoft Town last time out and are currently 13th with 33 points to their credit from 26 matches.

Last season’s corresponding fixture ended 1-1.

Saturday's match referee is Alf Greenwood and kick-off is at 3.00pm, with updates available on Twitter.
