United prepare for Community Day

The Jakemans Stadium will be open between 11.00am and 3.00pm for supporters to go behind-the-scenes.

The first team official photocall will be taking place — with manager Dennis Greene and his players in attendance throughout the afternoon.

Steve Welsh’s youngsters will also be having their annual squad photograph taken on the day.

There will be demonstrations from the club’s Community Football Club, Positive Pilgrims and United Cheer Team, while a Centre of Excellence fixture between the Pilgrims and Lincoln City will kick-off at 11.30am.

There will be inflatables on offer to keep the children entertained — plus giant Zorb balls, in addition to hot food and refreshments being served inside the stadium.
