Boston United will get their pre-season preparations under way at Ashby Avenue on Tuesday evening.

The Pilgrims face Lincoln United (kick-off 7.45pm) in their first pre-season friendly — with a variety of new signings likely to feature for the first time.

Carl Piergianni, Scott Garner, Netan Sansara, Peter Bore, Gary Mills and Ricky Miller could all play — but goalkeeper Ashley Timms is not quite ready to be included following an operation earlier in the summer.

United boss Dennis Greene could also run the rule over a couple of trialists who have been training with the Pilgrims.

The Whites, managed by Dave Frecklington, are likely to include former Boston full-back Paul Mayo in Tuesday evening’s squad.

The NTR Stadium postcode is LN6 0DY.

Team news and goal flashes will be available on Twitter via @bostonunited.
