United receive seven county calls
Seven Boston United players have been called up for Lincolnshire under-18s duty.
The county representative side entertain Northumberland at Holbeach United on Saturday February 16 — and seven Boston teenagers are involved.
Goalkeeper Sam Vince, defenders Niall Delahoy and Charlie Rossington, midfielders Joe Briers and Aaron Eyett and strikers Jordan Nuttell and Charley Sanders have all been selected.
As a consequence, the reserve team’s away fixture on the same date against Market Rasen Town has been postponed.
Furthermore, United reserves’ Challenge Cup semi-final against Gainsborough Town will now take place on Saturday February 23 (kick-off 1.00pm).
The kick-off time has been brought forward on Police advice due to Gainsborough Trinity’s FA Trophy semi-final second leg against Wrexham taking place at The Northolme on the same day.
