Boston United are back on the road in Vanarama National League North on Saturday afternoon with a trip to Darlington (kick-off 3.00pm).

The Pilgrims could climb to third if they are victorious and Spennymoor Town fail to win at Brackley Town — with over half the division either inactive or in Emirates FA Cup action.

United boss Craig Elliott will have goalkeeper Sebastian Malkowski in contention for the first time, while Grimsby Town loanee Max Wright is expected to return from injury.

Elliott will check on the fitness of Jonathan Wafula, who limped off against Blyth Spartans.

Josh Hine and Jordan Slew are both set to feature after cameos from the bench against Blyth.

Darlington have collected 13 points from their opening 12 fixtures, but have lost four times out of six on home soil so far.

Last season's corresponding fixture ended 2-1 to the Pilgrims, with Reece Thompson and Ashley Hemmings on target.

Saturday's match referee is Paul Brown.
