Boston United are back on home turf at the weekend with resurgent Southport providing the Pilgrims' opposition at The Jakemans Stadium on Saturday.

The 3.00pm kick-off will afford United the opportunity to pick up their first victory since October 27 when they defeated Hereford FC 3-1.

Since then, Craig Elliott's side have taken a solitary point from fixtures against Brackley Town, Ashton United and AFC Telford United.

Southport, on the other hand, have won their last three matches in all competitions including 4-1 and 3-0 away league wins over Kidderminster Harriers and Hereford FC respectively.

Elliott, who is celebrating a year in the United hotseat, could hand a full debut to striker Danny Rowe following his substitute outing at Telford last weekend.

Brad Abbott completes his two-match ban and will not feature against the Sandgrounders, who were beaten 3-2 in last season's corresponding fixture.

Saturday's match referee is Barry Lamb, who took charge of the Pilgrims' first away fixture of the season at Leamington in August.

Matchday updates for those not in attendance will be published on Twitter via @bostonunited — starting with team news at 2.00pm.
