United set for opening friendly
Boston United kick-off their pre-season campaign at The Jakemans Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The Pilgrims entertain Norwich City’s under-21s (kick-off 3.00pm) four weeks before their Conference North curtain-raiser against Barrow.
New signings Dayle Southwell, Jack Barlow, Kaine Felix and Connor Smythe could all feature alongside United’s existing players and a clutch of trialists.
Marc Newsham is the only likely absentee as he nears full fitness following a knee injury.
The Jakemans (Town End) Stand will be closed for this fixture but supporters planning on attending all four home friendlies can take advantage of a special ‘four-for-three’ ticket offer up until kick-off against Norwich.
