The 146th meeting of the Lincolnshire rivals will unfold at The Northolme with the Pilgrims aiming to build on their three-match unbeaten run while the hosts will be buoyed by Saturday’s 6-3 home win over Colwyn Bay.
The Pilgrims have taken seven points from three matches involving AFC Fylde and Chorley and have recorded four away wins so far this season.
Trinity, meanwhile, had lost their previous three home matches (to Worcester City, Chorley and Guiseley) before Saturday’s thrashing of the Seagulls.
Boston have an excellent recent record at The Northolme and will be targeting another positive result on Tuesday evening to enhance their play-off aspirations.
United boss Dennis Greene is expected to select from an unchanged squad, although goalkeeper Sam Vince is eligible after completing a three-match suspension.
Last season’s corresponding fixture ended 1-0 to the Pilgrims courtesy of Ricky Miller’s second half winner.
Kick-off at The Northolme is 7.45pm.
