United suffer Farman departure blow

Lincoln City have recalled goalkeeper Paul Farman from his loan spell at Boston United.

The 24-year-old, who made four appearances for the Pilgrims, is heading back to Sincil Bank after Gary Simpson exercised his 24-hour recall option on the keeper.

The recall appears to have arisen after Birmingham City denied loanee Nick Townsend permission to play for the Red Imps in the FA Cup against Alfreton Town on Saturday.

Sam Vince is eligible for the Pilgrims on Saturday — but then begins a three-match suspension.
