The Burdens Group have 'pitched in' to support Boston United once again ahead of the impending Vanarama National League North season.

Burdens have renewed their long-standing pitch maintenance partnership with the Pilgrims to hand a boost to United head groundsman Nobby Croston ahead of the new campaign.

He will be able to make use of Burdens' wide range of professional grass care machinery from their Turfleet Hire division, which also includes New Holland compact tractors.

Reflecting on the news, United commercial manager Craig Singleton told bufc.co.uk: "We have received excellent support from Burdens over the years and that level of backing will continue once again in 2015-2016.

"The machinery provided by Burdens is crucial in delivering the best playing surface possible for the players to perform on.

"We extend our thanks to chairman Norman Burden and sales director Shaun Taylor for their ongoing support."

Shaun Taylor, sales director of The Burdens Group, added: "The Burdens Group are delighted to renew for what will be the 10th year of our pitch maintenance sponsorship.

"At this exciting time for the football club, we will be watching with interest the development of the new stadium and any opportunities that may present for Burdens to continue supporting Boston United in the future."

Burdens have branches based in Sutterton, Wrangle and North Kyme and will continue to enjoy a number of commercial benefits in return, including advertising boards on each of the floodlight pylons.
