Boston United assistant manager Graham Hyde bemoaned the Pilgrims’ lack of cutting edge at Bishop’s Stortford on Bank Holiday Monday.

United suffered a disappointing 1-0 defeat at the hands of Stortford, who secured the points thanks to a debut strike from Afolabi Obafemi on nine minutes.

Hyde was happy with much of United’s play and retention of the ball but was disappointed not to see the Pilgrims trouble home keeper Luke Chambers.

Jason Lee’s right-hand man insisted United would come out all guns blazing against Workington on Saturday.
