Boston United skipper Gareth Jelleyman felt the Pilgrims were worthy of at least a point against Bradford Park Avenue on Saturday.

Jelleyman rued missed chances as United were beaten 2-1 at the Horsfall Stadium to bring their three-match winning streak to an end.

The United captain offered the squad’s support to Marc Newsham, who was denied from the penalty spot by keeper Tim Deasy deep into stoppage time.

Jelleyman targeted an instant riposte against Tadcaster Albion in the FA Cup next weekend.
