Boston United striker Marc Newsham was delighted to open his league account for the season in Saturday's opening day win over Droylsden.
Newsham netted in the 11th minute of the clash at the Butchers Arms as United secured a sixth successive opening day win.
Having already netted five times in Lincolnshire Senior Shield pre-season action, Newsham was in the right place at the right time to convert Mark Jones' neat assist.
Newsham is now chasing three points against Histon on Tuesday evening.
