Boston United midfielder Danny Sleath was full of praise for the Pilgrims’ travelling supporters following Tuesday’s trek to North Wales.
United were backed by a band of 50 or so travelling fans against Colwyn Bay and Sleath was disappointed that the Pilgrims were unable to send them home happy with at least a point.
Sleath reflected on his goal which had handed the Pilgrims the lead and conceding three long-range efforts to lose the match late on.
The long-serving midfielder is hoping to see a riposte against Worcester City at the weekend.
