Video - Sleath wants to remain a Pilgrim

3 years ago By Craig Singleton

Despite sitting out Saturday’s clash against Guiseley, midfielder Danny Sleath felt the match produced the usual fireworks when the two clubs meet.

Sleath missed the season’s finale as old rivals Boston United and Guiseley fought out a terrific 3-3 draw at The Jakemans Stadium.

The injured midfielder declared his wish to remain with the Pilgrims, ahead of the publication of the club’s retained list.

Sleath discussed United’s inconsistent season and his hopes for a better campaign next time around — as well as praising player of the year Marc Newsham.
