The Pilgrims were beaten 2-1 at home by Hinckley United on Saturday but have a quick chance to put things right when they visit on Woodside Park on Bank Holiday Monday.

Stainfield admitted it was a ‘cruel reality check’ for the Pilgrims, who had opened the season with such panache.

The defender also discussed establishing as a first team regular at The Jakemans Stadium.
