Boston United striker Spencer Weir-Daley insisted the Pilgrims’ fans deserved much more following Saturday’s abject showing at Rivacre Park.
United were beaten 4-0 by Vauxhall Motors following a woeful first half performance in their first match since Jason Lee’s midweek sacking.
Weir-Daley offered no defence of United’s display in Ellesmere Port and targeted an instant response against Droylsden on Saturday.
The 27-year-old also discussed Lee’s departure and what the future may hold for the United players.
