There is work aplenty going on behind-the-scenes at The Jakemans Stadium as preparations continue for the new National League North campaign.
The playing surface is undergoing extensive refurbishment under the guidance of head groundsman Dan Milgate, with assistance from the evergreen Nobby Croston.
A programme of scarification, seeding, fertilising and aeration has taken place, while the York Street end goalmouth is being re-turfed ahead of the big kick-off.
Milgate thanked pitch maintenance partners The Burdens Group for their ongoing support — and Enterprise Seeds for their donation of grass seed this summer.
