Boston United boss Dennis Greene was pleased to end the campaign with a piece of silverware.
The Pilgrims defeated Gainsborough Trinity 3-1 in Tuesday’s Lincolnshire Senior Shield final at The Northolme.
Greene was full of praise for his side for overcoming their neighbours to lift the Senior Shield for the first time since 2010.
The United manager also revealed which players are leaving the club — and the positions he wishes to strengthen.
