Saturday’s scheduled Blue Square Bet North fixture between Boston United and Worcester City has been postponed.
Local referee Stephen Ross had no hesitation in calling off the match following a Friday afternoon pitch inspection.
Sections of the playing surface at The Jakemans Stadium are frozen underneath a thick layer of snow — which would have been removed on Saturday morning if frost had not prevented the match going ahead.
The match will now take place at The Jakemans Stadium on Tuesday March 27 (kick-off 7.45pm).
The Pilgrims are not now back in action until Tuesday February 21 when they visit Vauxhall Motors (kick-off 7.45pm).
