AFC Telford United's New Bucks Head is the next National League North destination for Boston United on Saturday afternoon (kick-off 3.00pm).

The Pilgrims will be aiming to become the first side to topple the Bucks on their home turf this season, with Gavin Cowan's team having won five and drawn three of their home fixtures to date.

The sides are levelling pegging going into the match, with 25 points apiece from 16 matches, although the Pilgrims do possess a marginally better goal difference.

Boston will welcome goalkeeper George Willis and defender Ben Middleton back into contention following their three-match suspensions, but midfielder Brad Abbott begins a two-match ban for his dismissal at Ashton United last weekend.

Gregg Smith has departed following the Ashton stalemate, meaning there will be at least two changes to the United matchday squad on Saturday.

Jay Rollins is progressing well but involvement at the New Bucks Head is likely to come too soon for the long-serving United winger.

Last season's corresponding fixture ended 2-1 to the Bucks.

Saturday's match referee is Nathanael Cox, who has not previously taken charge of the Pilgrims.
