Boston United boss Craig Elliott will welcome back at least one key attacking player for the visit of Curzon Ashton on Saturday afternoon.

On-loan Jake Wright, who was ineligible to face parent club York City last weekend, will be back to lead the United line against mid-table rivals Curzon on an afternoon termed as 'celebration day' by the club's Community Foundation.

Fellow striker Gavin Allott, meanwhile, will be checked ahead of kick-off after missing the York clash with a thigh injury.

Newcomer Cameron Hawkes could make a debut and become the 48th different player to represent the Pilgrims competitively this season but defender Ben Middleton completes a two-match suspension and will play no part.

Curzon are one place and one point behind the Pilgrims ahead of kick-off, although they do have one game in hand.

Their record of 29 points away from home is one of the best in the division, although Mark Bradshaw's side were beaten 1-0 at Guiseley on Tuesday night.

Last season's corresponding fixture ended 3-3 after the Pilgrims had trailed 3-0.

Saturday's match referee is Elliott Swallow, who officiated the Pilgrims at FC United of Manchester (won 3-0) and Chorley (drew 1-1) earlier in the campaign.

Matchday updates for those not in attendance will be published on Twitter via @bostonunited — starting with team news at 2.00pm.
