The Pilgrims were edged out by Notts County courtesy of Cedwyn Scott’s 68th minute strike - but Ian Culverhouse's side turned in a hard-working and resolute performance against the EFL returnees.

Culverhouse was able to give a run-out to his whole squad, with the exception of injured full-back Ethan Sephton.
