Boston United 1-1 Darlington
Kabongo Tshimanga scored a late equaliser as Boston United shared the spoils with Darlington at The Jakemans Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The Pilgrims, who saw skipper James Clifton denied from the penalty spot during the first half, fell behind when Stephen Thompson converted a spot-kick on the hour mark.
United were undeterred though and levelled with 12 minutes to play through Tshimanga's sixth goal of the campaign overall.
Adam Murray had named an unchanged XI ahead of kick-off, with Gregg Smith once again supported by Jack Thomas in attack.
United made the early running, with Rollins doing well to get the better of former team-mate Liam Marrs to drive goalwards, only for Joe Wheatley to get in a crucial block.
The Pilgrims won a penalty on 25 minutes when Marrs was penalised for a foul on Thomas but keeper Adam Bartlett guessed correctly to keep out Clifton’s poor spot-kick.
A subsequent drive from Clifton deflected wide off Thompson, but bizarrely a goal-kick was awarded.
The second half started with the Pilgrims on the front foot too, with Bartlett saving well to deny Rollins.
It was Darlington who broke the deadlock in the 60th minute when Jordan Keane felled Harvey Saunders in the box and THOMPSON stepped up to confidently blast his side into the lead.
United levelled 18 minutes later when Smith hooked a clever ball over the top for TSHIMANGA to run on, shrug off Terry Galbraith and poke an angled effort past Bartlett.
Bartlett later spectacularly denied substitute Ashley Hemmings, while Marrs cleared off the line to deny Rollins at the death.
