Former Grimsby Town striker Dayle Southwell switched to The Jakemans Stadium during the summer of 2014 following his release from Blundell Park. He had scored five goals in three starts for the Mariners, but it was not enough to earn a new deal from ex-Boston boss Paul Hurst. Southwell played and scored at Boston in October 2013 during a short loan spell for Harrogate Town. He excelled during his debut campaign with the Pilgrims, netting 30 times in all competitions and signed a new deal in February 2015. A further 24 goals earned a move to Wycombe Wanderers in the summer of 2016. He re-joined the Pilgrims for a second spell in December 2019, on loan from FC Halifax Town, after turning out for Guiseley in the meantime.Matches Summary
