Kindly sponsored by Drayton Motors, the event will feature a host of teams gunning for first place which was occupied by Roger Budge Electrical in 2012.

Among those competing on the day are United manager Dennis Greene, assistant boss Martyn Bunce and club captain Ian Ross.

Entries, which are prices £120 per team of four, include ‘halfway house’ refreshments and a two-course meal upon completion of the round.

A discount is available for existing Boston Golf Club members.
