United braced for Hykeham encounter

Craig Singleton21 Oct 2011 - 10:49

Boston United Reserves travel to Hykeham Town on Saturday for their latest Sills and Betteridge Lincolnshire League clash.

The fixture will see Glen Maddison’s United side aiming to bounce back from last weekend’s disappointing Challenge Cup exit at the hands of Horncastle Town.

Maddison’s selection options will be somewhat restricted with a number of players unavailable for a variety of reasons.

Nathan Rawdon, Charley Sanders, Pedro Sevilha and Bert Snaith are set to miss out through injury, while youngsters Jordan Nuttell, James Reed and Jake Beauchamp are all on county duty.

Jason Field has joined United Counties League side Spalding United on loan, while Andrew Shinn and Elliott Price are both unavailable.

Defender Lewis Sturman is added to the United squad for the 3.00pm kick-off.

United (from): Hewitt, Bishop, Dawson, Edwards, Eustace, Jackson, Lovett, Lowman, Ogden, M Price, Sergeant, Sturman, Thompson, Whitaker.
