Striker Spencer Weir-Daley was pleased to score his second goal of the campaign — but was disappointed to see Boston United beaten once again.
The Pilgrims were beaten 3-1 by Workington despite Weir-Daley’s 38th minute equaliser — the second successive home match in which he has drawn United level only for the visitors to retake the lead and take all three points.
The popular striker admitted the Pilgrims are desperate to get back to winning ways ahead of Tuesday’s trip to Oxford City.
Weir-Daley discussed his goalscoring form, which he hopes will continue apace.
