Benton Brothers Transport have ended their long-running sponsorship of the York Street Stand — meaning a new company logo will grace the 70 metres of advertising space across the top of the stand which is shared by home and away supporters.

The Sibsey-based hauliers have sponsored the stand for over a decade, but have opted not to renew the sponsorship for season 2012-2013.

United commercial manager Craig Singleton told bufc.co.uk: “Benton Brothers had provided our longest-standing sponsorship, so it is obviously sad to see the end of this long-running and worthwhile partnership.

“We must thank Martin Benton for his excellent support over the course of the last 10 years or so. It has been much appreciated by everybody at Boston United.”

A new sponsor has been secured and their identity will be revealed in due course — along with new signage for the York Street Stand.
