The Pilgrims will head to Melbourne Stadium on Saturday August 11 (kick-off 3.00pm).

United boss Jason Lee was keen to secure Step 2 opposition during the Pilgrims’ pre-season build-up.

Lee told bufc.co.uk: “We were keen to play somebody from our level of football so a Blue Square Bet South opponent was ideal. Hopefully it will be a worthwhile exercise all-round.”

United will also travel to Sleaford Town on Tuesday July 17. The kick-off time for the clash against Glen Maddison’s side will be announced in due course.
