The Boston United stopper, 26, has kept 18 clean sheets in 45 appearances for the Pilgrims and, despite losing his place to Ross Fitzsimons in 2020-2021, has put pen-to-paper on a new contract.
Crook also has vast National League North experience with Harrogate Town to his name.
United manager Craig Elliott said: "I am pleased that Pete has committed to another season at Boston United.
"He is at a great age and knows this league inside out. His stats are very good and he has amassed a lot of clean sheets in the games he has played.
"Although his chances were restricted this season, he continued to train to a very high standard and remains highly motivated to be successful at Boston United."
Crook's only competitive appearance in 2020-2021 was the 3-0 Buildbase FA Trophy victory over Evesham United in December.
